What is a powder coating line?
The electrostatic painting line is applied based on developments compared to manual painting and conventional water-based painting. Powder coating is applied with an electrostatic gun and using powder paint (dry powder paint instead of water-based paint like manual paint) or wet paint.

Currently, there are two popular types of powder coating lines that are widely used, and depending on the product, choose the right line for your business.
– Dry electrostatic painting line (powder coating).
– Wet powder coating line (using solvent).

Operating principle of the electrostatic painting line.
The electrostatic painting line operates on the principle of electric charge creating a suction force when painting the product.The paint gun will have a positive charge (+) and at the same time, when the product conveying chains pass through the paint gun, the product will also have a negative charge (-). When the two electric currents are of opposite polarity (-) and the electric charge (+) will create an attractive force that helps the paint powders adhere tightly to the product. The product is painted using an electrostatic painting line, which has the advantage of long-lasting color and high efficiency during use.

- Step 1: Clean the product surface, remove impurities and dust from the product surface using a dip tank or pre-treatment system.
- Step 2: After treating the product surface, the products will be loaded onto the chain of the paint line to the next step of the process.
- Step 3: After cleaning, the product will be dried to dry the coated surface and painted.
- Step 4: Paint the product using an automatic robot whose task is to coat the product surface with paint.
- Step 5: Drying the product after being coated with paint is also an important step in the operation process of the powder coating line. Products will be dried using an automatic dryer, businesses can adjust the drying time and temperature to suit each product line.
- Step 6: Check the product again after completion and packaging.
